Signature Hardware breaks through a search-performance plateau

CHALLENGE
Signature Hardware was failing to improve paid search efforts year-over-year and needed to reverse the trend. Adlucent found Signature Hardware was utilizing SA360, and suffered from low audience reach, decreased efficiency, and cut-off conversion paths.

SOLUTION
Based on the SA360 limitations, Adlucent performed a head-to-head search ads test using Deep Search™. A split test was performed on Signature Hardware’s top product categories, with the control group managed by SA360, and the test group managed by our Deep SearchTM bid management strategy.

RESULTS
Throughout the test, Adlucent’s Deep SearchTM campaigns, supported by our expert strategy, saw higher traffic at lower CPCs and acquired more new customers compared to SA360. We drove 31% higher revenue and 22% higher ROAS compared to the SA360 campaigns.

ADDITIONAL LESSONS
Both Signature Hardware and Adlucent learned that strong commerce performance cannot rely on Google’s automation alone. Because of retail volatility, SA360’s learning period and predictions are severely limited. Adlucent’s human + machine approach is key to breaking through SA360 performance plateaus.
